While visiting Trinidad, the Las Cuevas is a hotel that shouldn't be missed. Located high on a hill overlooking the Caribbean Sea, as well as the city of Trinidad, Las Cuevas has stunning views (be sure to request a room with a view). The villa-style bungalows are interspersed across a hillside, allowing a feeling of isolation and peace. All accommodations are air conditioned, and have satellite televisions and phones. The resort takes its name from the numerous caves nearby (one of which houses their discotheque). Request to stay in the newer, more spacious villas with balconies.
