The Complejo Isla del Sur is actually a complex of several different hotels, all perfectly situated around the island's southern Playa Blanca and Playa Lindamar beaches. You can either book an all-inclusive package, or simply book a room and pay for food, water sports and diving excursions separately. The Complejo Isla del Sur has extensive facilities for diving and water sports, and you can rent bicycles to explore the beachfront roads. In the complex, Hotel Isla del Sur is the only conventional hotel, having 59 rooms set in a two-story building built behind the beach. The first hotel to be built on the island, the Isla del Sur has a swimming pool in its central courtyard, and a complex of hotel bars, buffet restaurant, an information desk and several shops.

The other beach properties include Villa Coral (resembling a small, colonial village), Villa Iguana (colorful, two-story bungalows), Villa Capricho (picturesque, rustic cabins, made of stone, wood and guano), and Villa Lindamar (great service and a wide range of activities involving the sea).
